Decibel Display

Client: Ernesto Bos Bosdeco

The product is an advertisement sign with a LED dB meter in the shape of a big A. I was hired for this project to develop the electronics and the software.

The sound is analyzed using a MAX4466 electret microphone and an Arduino, which filters and processes the sound. The dB level is then mapped onto the LED bars using DMX through a DMX shield and a 24-channel DMX decoder.
